So my friends have been telling me to make sure I do my kegel exercises. I know what they are but where do you buy them or is it something your Dr. gives you? So confused!?! I’m only 14 weeks along, is that too soon to start? I don’t have another Dr. appt for 2 weeks.

Kegal exercises… hehe.. a subject that can make some people blush
Its never too early to start, and by practicing kegals, you can strengthen and tone your vaginal muscles for pushing… which can potentially prevent any tearing.
You can practice kegalsa couple of ways: like stopping the flow of urine mid-stream, or by squeezing your bum together while laying flat on your back with your knees bent, or even during intercourse by squeezing your partners penis while he’s inside you *ahem*
anyways… I’m not an expert, but its pretty useful to do if you plan on a vaginal delivery. There are lots of links out there on kegal exercises, so just do a search on them.
