Not really "health" related, but don’t know where else to find the information…
I just recently delivered my first son at the beginning of January. I’m on maternity leave from my long-time job, with my parental leave following my maternity. (I should maybe mention I’m located in Ontario, Canada? Not sure if that makes a difference in how maternity/parental leave works).
Now, out of curiousity, if I were to get pregnant again during my leave, how would that work? In order to claim maternity/parental leave the first time, it is based on the past 600 hours you worked. If I were to be pregnant again, I would be due right around the same time I am due to return to work. So, technically, I would not have 600 hours in the past 52 weeks. Would this mean I would not qualify for maternity or parental benefits? Or would they simply do the average over the past two years (as they will sometimes do if you had less than 600 hours in the past 52 weeks) and do the average of that, therefor granting me the same maternity/parental benefits I have now?
Has anybody here been in that situation, where they have had two babies about a year apart? Were you given maternity/parental benefits?

Well I woke up this morning and had a rash covering my whole stomach. That’s the only place it is. I put lotion on it every day so I don’t think it’s because it’s too dry. I also don’t think it’s a heat rash because I’m not hot rarely and it’s winter.. It didn’t start itching until after I took a shower and put some lotion on it. Now I don’t know what to do. Has this ever happened to anyone else? And it’s not like a rash with a ton of bumps, there are a few bumps and a lot of little red spots that aren’t poking out but look like it. It’s weird.. help please??!?

I was just wondering if anyone out there knew if you are at a higher risk of having a premature baby is you were premature yourself? I know I am at a slight risk of having a premature birth because I am a bit overweight, but I was also born a little over three weeks early, so I’m curious. I haven’t mentioned that to my OB yet, as it never really crossed my mind until I seen a commercial on TV about premature birth. I plan on talking to him about it, but my next appointment isn’t for a few more weeks. Just wondering if anyone might have any ideas?

Ok so I have two horses..who I absolutely adore..and I was just wondering if any of you out there have horses to and are preggo? I’ve searched the web a bit to see if it was ok to ride while pregnant, but never really got a conclusive answer so I was just wondering if any of you have been in that position? And if so, up until when is it still safe to ride? I would really hate to have to give them up if it wasnt going to be safe around them, and Im sure a doctor would say absolutely no..Any personal experiences with this??

Since yesterday I’ve been having this strange feeling in my lower abs. It feels like someone is poking me really hard. It doesn’t hurt (its more of a pressure pain) but its really annoying! Anybody have any ideas?
